This pivotal role involves managing on-site operations, coordinating teams, ensuring safety compliance, and delivering projects on time and within budget. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction management, exceptional leadership skills, and a keen eye for detail to drive project success and uphold the highest standards of quality and safety. Responsibilities Oversee daily construction site activities, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to project specifications. Coordinate and manage subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to maintain smooth workflow and adherence to schedules. Review construction drawings, blueprints, and technical documents to verify accuracy and facilitate proper execution of work. Develop, update, and monitor project schedules using construction management software such as Primavera P6 or Procore to ensure timely completion. Conduct regular site inspections to enforce OSHA standards, federal construction safety regulations, and company safety policies. Manage project budgets by tracking costs, reviewing contracts, and implementing cost control measures. Supervise the review of construction schedules, quality control processes, and safety protocols to ensure compliance with all regulations. Interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately to guide on-site teams in executing complex tasks like pipeline installation or heavy civil work. Lead team meetings, manage crew performance, and communicate effectively with clients, architects, engineers, and project stakeholders. Maintain comprehensive documentation including daily reports, incident logs, change orders, and project records using tools like Prolog or Construction Management Software. Skills Extensive experience with construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Prolog, HeavyBid or similar platforms. Proven ability in managing large-scale commercial or heavy civil construction projects from start to finish. Strong knowledge of construction regulations including OSHA standards and federal safety requirements. Skilled in blueprint reading, interpreting technical drawings related to pipelines or infrastructure projects. Expertise in project scheduling, coordination of construction timelines, and managing critical path activities. Demonstrated leadership in supervising teams on-site while fostering a safe work environment through effective crew management. Excellent managerial communication skills for coordinating with diverse teams and stakeholders at all levels. Ability to review contracts thoroughly and manage project budgets efficiently. Experience supervising construction safety management programs and conducting safety audits. Familiarity with construction site equipment testing tools such as ohmmeters for electrical inspections when necessary.
