Full Job Description Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Assistant Construction Project Manager to join our Company. This role assists the senior project manager in running multiple ground up commercial construction projects at once. It is focused on job site management and communication with our customers. Waterford Construction & Development is an established commercial development/design/construction firm operating in the Tampa Bay area for over 40 years. Qualifications/Skills requirements:

High school degree or equivalent Minimum 3 years of experience in construction management, commercial experience preferred Highly organized and professional Outstanding written communication, verbal communication and customer service skills Ability to manage subcontractors Ability to communicate with inspectors Ability to communicate with customers Ability to read and interpret blueprints Understanding of building materials and methodology Ability to anticipate potential issues Excellent multi-tasking and time management abilities Ability to lift 50 lbs. Possess a valid Florida Driver's license Computer literacy in Microsoft applications Experience with Procore, a plus

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Coordinate and direct subcontractors / order materials as needed Communicate and meet with clients throughout construction process Communicate with company owner and Senior Project Manager Conduct daily site visits and meetings Verify completion and quality of work Create schedules and track daily progress Be present with inspectors for onsite inspections Ensure customer selections and change orders are completed correctly Assist with final walkthrough with customers Completion of punchlist in a timely manner

Pay:

$55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
