Position Summary Craft Master Custom Pools is seeking a hands-on Field Supervisor to lead the on-site execution of our custom residential pool projects. This role is responsible for translating design and scope into a finished backyard experience — on time, on budget, and to our quality standards. The Field Supervisor serves as the operational backbone of each project in the field. You will oversee daily site activity, coordinate subcontractors, enforce safety standards, manage schedule progression, and ensure the final product reflects the craftsmanship our clients expect. This role serves as the liaison between field and office staff. You will report directly to our Operations Manager and ownership. You are expected to be organized, a self-starter, and lead by example at all times. This role requires strong leadership, financial awareness, urgency, and full ownership of the build process from dig to start-up. You will be responsible for managing up to 50 projects at one time. Core Responsibilities 1. Field Execution & Schedule Control Oversee all phases of pool construction from excavation through plaster, decking, equipment start-up, and final inspections. Maintain forward momentum on every job site; proactively identify and resolve issues before they affect timeline or cost. Coordinate subcontractors, inspections, material deliveries, and site logistics with the office team. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site at all times. Ensure all work meets engineering plans, municipal requirements, and Craft Master quality standards. Ensure permitting documents are on-site at all times and that all required inspections are passed. 2. Budget Awareness & Resource Management Monitor labor, material usage, and subcontractor performance to protect job margins. Identify scope deviations or change-order conditions early and communicate immediately to the project managers, owners, and operations manager. Reduce waste, rework, and delays through strong oversight and planning. Treat every job as if it were your own investment. 3. Technology & Documentation Fully adopt and utilize company project management software for: Daily logs Progress photos Schedule updates Inspection tracking Time reporting Maintain real-time communication with the office, project managers, and leadership. Ensure all job documentation is accurate, timely, and complete. 4. Leadership & Team Accountability Set clear expectations for subcontractors and field crews. Manage and hold the field team accountable for quality standards, time reporting, job progress, photos, and overall job performance. Hold trades accountable to workmanship standards and timelines. Lead with professionalism, fairness, and firmness. Serve as the on-site face of Craft Master when interacting with clients, neighbors, inspectors, and vendors. Communicate proactively with homeowners to maintain confidence and clarity. Report directly to the Operations Manager and ownership on project status, issues, and team performance. QualificationsExperience 3-5+ years of pool construction supervision or relevant residential construction field management. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple job sites simultaneously. Strong understanding of excavation, steel, plumbing, shotcrete, decking, tile, equipment installation, and start-up processes. Certified Pool Builder (CPB) certification a plus Required Credentials Valid Florida Driver's License with clean driving record. OSHA 10-Hour Construction Safety (or willingness to obtain within 30 days). Certified Pool & Spa Operator (CPO) certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days).
