Jog Road, WPB 34786 The Senior Permit Coordinator performs professional, technical, supervisory, and operational leadership work in coordinating the County's permit application review process, including application intake, completeness verification, fee assessment, zoning review, and permit issuance. Responsible for supervising Building Permit Coordinators and coordinating permit review activities between multiple divisions, departments, and external agencies. The Senior Permit Coordinator ensures the efficient administration of permitting operations, provides technical interpretation of zoning and development regulations, and maintains compliance with the County's Unified Land Development Code (ULDC). Involves the administration of and participation in the composition of Division policies and procedures. QUALIFICATIONS
This position requires qualified applicants to possess one of the following: A Bachelor's Degree in Urban, Economic and/or Regional Planning, or a closely related field; minimum of two (2) years of directly related experience in land development regulation administration, or land development permit application review processes, including five (5) years of supervisory experience, OR An unrelated Bachelor's Degree; minimum of four (4) years of directly related experience in land development regulation administration, or land development permit application review processes, including five (5) years of supervisory experience, OR An Associate's Degree in Urban, Economic and/or Regional Planning, or a closely related field; minimum of four (4) years of directly related experience in land development regulation administration, or land development permit application review processes, including five (5) years of supervisory experience, OR Graduation from high school or an equivalent recognized certification; minimum of six (6) years of directly related experience in land development regulation administration, or land development permit application review processes, including five (5) years of supervisory experience.
