This role is vital in ensuring that all demolition activities are executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all and local safety regulations. The ideal candidate will possess extensive construction site experience, strong management capabilities, and a keen eye for detail in interpreting drawings. As a Demolition Supervisor, you will coordinate project schedules, manage teams of workers, and ensure quality control throughout the demolition process. Your leadership will drive project success while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to budget constraints.
The pay is as follows:
$250 per day for in-state projects $300 per day for out of state projects Frequent Travel is required •Project based work This is a contract 1099 position. •(Project Based Work) Must have your own tools, and transportation. Duties Lead and supervise demolition crews, managing daily operations on-site to meet project deadlines and safety standards Attend Initial Client Intake Meetings Review construction drawings, schematics, and technical documents to plan demolition activities accurately Oversee the interpretation of blueprints and technical drawings to guide demolition procedures effectively Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, federal construction safety standards, and local safety protocols during all phases of demolition Manage subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services aligned with project requirements Conduct quality control inspections using tools Monitor project budgets, track costs and manage contracts efficiently Supervise the use of construction reporting, and documentation purposes Oversee the safe operation of heavy machinery and equipment involved in demolition activities Implement pipeline safety procedures where applicable during demolition involving underground utilities or infrastructure Qualifications Proven experience supervising demolition projects or heavy construction sites with a strong track record in managing teams in a construction management role Knowledge of construction management software Familiarity with construction scheduling techniques including project scheduling and schedule coordination Strong understanding of construction safety regulations including OSHA standards and safety protocols Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and construction plans accurately Skilled in construction estimating, budgeting, quality control measures, and contract management Demonstrated supervisory experience supervising diverse teams on active job sites with a focus on safety and efficiency Knowledge of heavy machinery operation and other diagnostic tools Excellent communication skills for coordinating with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and team members effectively Join our team as a Demolition Supervisor to lead impactful projects that transform environments while prioritizing safety and excellence.
