Job Description
We are looking for a Site Manager to join our residential and commercial painting team. This position is responsible for taking ownership of the day-to-day success of painting projects—from preparing the crew and job site to managing production, quality, materials, equipment, and customer expectations. The right person is organized, dependable, proactive, and understands that a successful project starts with being prepared before the crew arrives . We are looking for someone who doesn't wait for problems to happen. You should be able to look ahead, identify what the job needs, and make sure the crew has the right people, paint, materials, equipment, and information to get the job done efficiently and correctly. KEY RESPONSIBILITIESJob Site & Production Management Take ownership of the day-to-day operation of assigned job sites. Arrive prepared and understand the scope and requirements of the project. Ensure the crew has the correct paint, materials, tools, equipment, ladders, and other resources needed to work productively. Plan ahead for upcoming phases of the project and anticipate potential problems. Keep the crew productive and projects moving according to schedule. Monitor production and manage labor to meet EPH (Estimated Production Hours) and project budgets. Identify production issues early and take corrective action. Crew Leadership Lead, direct, and hold painting crews accountable for quality and productivity. Set clear expectations for the crew each day. Maintain a professional, respectful, and positive working relationship with staff. Coach employees when needed and help develop stronger painters. Lead by example in work ethic, attitude, safety, cleanliness, and professionalism. Quality Control Inspect work throughout the project—not just at the end. Ensure proper preparation and application standards are being followed. Identify and correct quality issues before they become customer complaints or call backs. Minimize unnecessary touch-ups, rework, and customer call backs. Make sure the completed project meets company and customer expectations. Materials & Equipment Monitor material usage and minimize unnecessary waste. Ensure equipment is properly maintained, used, and returned. Plan ahead so crews do not lose production time waiting for materials or equipment. Keep company vehicles, equipment, and job-site supplies organized. Maintain an organized and functional company storage area. Customer Service & Communication Maintain professional relationships with homeowners, commercial clients, general contractors, and other project contacts. Communicate project progress and potential issues clearly. Address customer concerns professionally and promptly. Communicate important job information with the office and management team. Represent the company professionally at all times. Safety & Job Site Standards Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site. Ensure employees follow company safety procedures. Properly use ladders, lifts, PPE, tools, and other equipment. Address unsafe conditions immediately. Maintain professional job-site standards throughout the project.

Two years experience with residential and/or commercial painting, crew leadership, production management, or construction supervision is required.
