Compensation and Benefits
  • Pay:
    $70 to $77 per hour.
  • Duration:
    6-month contract with potential for extension.
  • Location:
    Cartersville, GA.
  • Work arrangement: 100% onsite.
  • Employment type: Contract/Temporary.
Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Data Center Foreman for a 6-month contract opportunity supporting a large-scale, mission-critical data center construction project in Cartersville, GA. This 100% onsite role is ideal for a hands-on field leader with strong low-voltage, structured cabling, telecommunications, network infrastructure, or data center construction experience. The Data Center Foreman will help coordinate field technicians, support daily site execution, and ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with project requirements. This is a great opportunity to contribute to a high-visibility data center build in a collaborative construction environment with strong project leadership, cross-functional teamwork, and the potential for contract extension. Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and oversee multiple technicians on an active data center construction site.
  • Support daily field operations, manpower planning, work assignments, and project schedule coordination.
  • Read and interpret construction drawings, work plans, schedules, and project documentation.
  • Participate in site coordination meetings, track action items, and communicate project updates to leadership.
  • Support QA/QC activities and verify that field work meets project requirements and quality standards.
  • Promote job site safety and coordinate effectively with technicians, project managers, general contractors, customers, and other trades. Required Qualifications and Skills
  • Lead onsite field coordination for a mission-critical data center construction project.
  • Coordinate technician crews, work assignments, field communication, and daily construction activities.
  • Support project schedules, QA/QC expectations, safety requirements, and issue escalation.
  • Work closely with project managers, general contractors, customers, and trade partners.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 3+ years of experience in low-voltage, structured cabling, telecommunications, network infrastructure, data center, or related construction environments.
  • 1+ year of leadership experience as a Lead Technician, Foreman, Site Coordinator, Field Supervisor, or similar role.
  • Experience coordinating technicians or field crews on active construction projects.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, schedules, work plans, and project documentation.
  • Familiarity with data center and/or low-voltage construction environments.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard project documentation.
  • Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and field coordination skills.
  • Commitment to safety, quality, productivity, and meeting project timelines. Preferred Qualifications
  • Data center or mission-critical construction experience.
  • Structured cabling and fiber/copper infrastructure experience.
  • Access control, CCTV, wireless, or network infrastructure experience.
  • QA/QC experience on large-scale construction projects.
  • Experience coordinating with general contractors, customers, and multiple trades.
  • OSHA 10/30, BICSI, or similar certifications.
  • Experience with commissioning or construction/project management software.
