Construction Superintendent

Superintendents supervise all subcontractors, consultants, and vendors and Assistant superintendents on a daily basis. This supervision shall ensure adequate manpower is available for each task and compliant work performed. This position shall be responsible for monitoring project security personnel. This position is over 85% travel.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Knowledge of the retail construction industry including reading and interpreting blue prints. Must have excellent communication skills Must own reliable transportation, with a willingness to travel up to (85-95%) Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining a positive attitude Own and have experience using hand and power tools Work effectively on a team, successfully manage a team up to 5 Candidate must be able to manage on-site project from kick-off to close out while managing and directing other trades (5 or so types of trades) Able to work overnight as needed This job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required for this job, but more of a general nature.
