Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Grading Foreman to lead and oversee grading operations on construction sites. Responsibilities Supervise and manage grading crews, assigning tasks and monitoring performance to ensure quality work and adherence to project timelines Coordinate grading activities with project managers, engineers, and other trades to maintain seamless workflow and schedule alignment Review construction drawings and technical specifications to interpret grading requirements accurately Utilize construction management software such as Sage Construction Management for scheduling, tracking progress, and documenting project details Ensure compliance with

regulations and federal construction safety standards across all site activities Conduct regular safety meetings, site inspections, and quality control checks to uphold high safety and workmanship standards Manage crew schedules, equipment allocation, and material logistics to optimize productivity on site Qualifications Proven experience supervising grading operations within heavy civil or commercial construction projects Strong knowledge of construction management software including Sage Construction Skilled in blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings for grading plans and earthwork layouts Familiarity with construction safety regulations such as OSHA standards and federal safety protocols Excellent management skills with the ability to lead teams effectively in a fast-paced environment Experience managing budgets, project schedules, and subcontractor contracts Ability to communicate clearly with management teams, clients, suppliers, and crew members Hands-on experience with construction site equipment such as the ohmmeter for electrical testing or other relevant tools Join us as a Grading Foreman to lead impactful earthwork projects that shape infrastructure development!
