Job Description
Job Title Senior Site Manager Job Description Job Duties:
- Manage the daily operations of self-performing and subcontracted installation staff while they are engaged in the construction, installation, testing, and commissioning of all project related systems.
- Serve as the main point of contact for all construction related activities and assist the Project Manager, who has ultimate responsibility for project performance, with installation budget, site process adherence, site management, and compliance for installation and site requirements.
- Draw up the project "installation" project plan containing objectives, organization, planning and costs calculations in consultation with Project manager.
- Enter new or running projects in all stages to assist with completion.
- Monitor and manage quality, time, costs and provision of information.
- Identify and analyze (potential) problems / risks and opportunities, and initiate adequate corrective and preventive actions.
- Manage the interaction of site work with all stakeholders.
- Advise and manage the contracts of all subcontractors and suppliers.
- Develop and implement new methods/techniques, tools and practices.
- Coach lower-level site managers and supervisors.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (any), Business, or a related field of study AND Three (3) years of experience in the job offered or any related occupation in which the required experience was gained. Position also requires demonstrated experience with the following:- Site/project management and task delegation;
- Installation process according to C05 process;
- Understanding of OSHA construction requirements, and the ability to set up a safety program on a project site;
- Planning, assessing, and modifying resource requirements, including work resource schedules and material delivery;
- Reading, analyzing and understanding contracts and project specifications;
- Reading and understanding mechanical, electrical, and steel installation drawings/schematics; and
- Proficiency in digital applications - MS Office products, Auto
CAD, NAVIS
Works, Bluebeam Extreme, Procore, and Smartsheet. Reports to the company headquarters in Marietta, GA. Roving employee- will work at various unknown client sites throughout the U.S for up to 100% of the time.
