Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Utility Construction Supervisor to oversee various construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will ensure that all work is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of utility construction processes and safety regulations. Duties Supervise and coordinate construction activities on-site, ensuring compliance with project specifications and timelines. Conduct regular inspections to monitor progress and quality control of work performed by subcontractors and laborers. Manage project budgets, ensuring all expenditures are tracked and reported accurately. Enforce safety regulations in accordance with OSHA standards to maintain a safe working environment for all personnel. Review blueprints and construction plans to ensure proper execution of the build process. Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and team members regarding scheduling, project updates, changes, and challenges. Maintain documentation related to contracts, change orders, and other project-related paperwork. Skills Strong knowledge of quality control processes in construction projects. Proficiency in budgeting techniques for effective financial management of projects. Familiarity with OSHA regulations to ensure workplace safety compliance. Ability to read and interpret engineer prints accurately and place the facility underground correctly. Proven skills in managing teams effectively while fostering a collaborative work environment. Knowledge of pipeline construction practices is preferred. Knowledge of different types of construction, such as trenching, directional boring, and missileing. Ability to establish and implement a bill of materials Knowledge of traffic control. Ability to redline and resolve conflicts in the field. Experience with Monday. CDL Prefer a minimum of 2 years in a Supervisory telecom position. Bilingual-Spanish is a plus. Candidates must be proficient with Excel.
