We are currently seeking a highly qualified Construction Manager to join our team for DOD Petroleum, Oils, and Lubricants (POL) Fuels contracts at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam in Hawaii. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the management and execution of fuels-related projects for the Department of Defense (DOD), ensuring efficient and effective delivery of services while adhering to all contractual requirements and safety standards. Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
Collaborate with the Project Manager to oversee all aspects of DOD POL Fuels contracts at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, including procurement, storage, distribution, and quality control. Assist in the development and implementation of project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring alignment with client requirements and contractual obligations. Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, and DOD representatives to ensure project objectives are met within scope, budget, and timeline constraints. Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and issues, and implement effective mitigation strategies to ensure project success. Provide leadership and guidance to project team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment. Conduct inspections to assess safety compliance, and quality standards. Assist in the preparation of project documentation, reports, and presentations for stakeholders and regulatory agencies. Manage client communications and ensure timely and accurate responses to inquiries and requests. Collaborate with procurement specialists to facilitate the acquisition of fuels and related resources, complying with DOD procurement regulations. Support contract administration activities, including invoicing, budget tracking, and change order management. Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes related to fuels management and incorporate relevant updates into project plans and procedures. Uphold a strong commitment to safety, environmental compliance, and quality assurance throughout all project phases. Basic Qualifications:
Familiarity with DOD regulations and guidelines governing fuels procurement, storage, distribution, and quality control. Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders. Knowledge of safety regulations and practices applicable to fuels handling and storage operations. Ability to obtain and maintain necessary security clearances as required by DOD contracts. Experience working in a military or federal government environment is a plus. Flexibility to travel as needed to support project requirements. About APTIM APTIM

Compensation depends on several factors including: experience, education, key skills, geographic location of the position, client requirements, external market competitiveness, and internal equity among other employees within APTIM.
