Job Description
This is a non-merit, temporary position. Candidates must follow the instructions in the "To Apply" section. Positions in this class are exempt from the screening and referral requirements of the Iowa Department of Administrative Services

Contractor Escort & Supervision:
Greet external contractors and service vendors at designated check-in locations daily. Continuously escort personnel while they work inside resident living units, nursing departments, administrative spaces, and mechanical rooms.Secure Access Monitoring:
Monitor temporary construction doors and secure unit perimeters to prevent unauthorized exit or entry into memory care or specialized units.Communication:
Maintain radio or phone contact with the Facility Management Bureau and floor nursing supervisors to communicate operational impacts in advance. Minimum Qualifications & Physical RequirementsInterpersonal & Communication Skills:
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.Physical Demands:
Ability to stand, walk, climb stairs, and escort personnel continuously across a multi-building campus for up to 8 hours per shift.
