Job Goal:

To provide leadership and oversight for the summer daycare program by ensuring a safe, engaging, and well-organized environment that supports students' social, emotional, and physical development while maintaining clear communication with families and staff.

Responsibilities:

Program Leadership & Oversight Oversee daily operations of the summer daycare program Ensure a safe, structured, and positive environment for all children Maintain compliance with district policies and state childcare regulations Staff Supervision Provide ongoing guidance, support, and performance feedback Student Safety & Well-Being Monitor student attendance and supervision at all times Address behavior concerns and communicate with families as needed Ensure proper implementation of safety procedures and emergency plans Program Planning Coordinate daily activities, enrichment, and recreational programming Ensure activities support social, emotional, and physical development Family & Community Communication Serve as primary contact for parents/guardians Communicate program updates, policies, and concerns Administrative Duties Manage registration, records, and required documentation Oversee program budget and supplies Coordinate facility use with school administration Track attendance and maintain required documentation Assist with setup, cleanup, and organization of program spaces The listed responsibilities would be typical.
