PM, Assist PM, Warehouse Manager and VP's Supervises:
Construction Field Operations Objective Provide overall staff direction and guidance to field foreman and provide feedback to the project managers. To produce all work at lowest possible cost. Supervise all Construction Operations to achieve highest possible results/margins. With PM identify and correct unacceptable productivity. Understand the major obstacles in achieving maximum productivity. Routine duties and responsibilities Oversee total project staffing efforts to ensure appropriate personnel, budget and schedule are met. Authorize/approve all supervision personnel transactions in conjunction with appropriate project managers. Ensure all company, department, and technical policies, procedures, standards, etc., are adhered to. Interpret policies as required. Assist with implementation and interpretation of safety programs. Monitor job site safety. Assist in the development of supervision training programs. Provide expertise and technical knowledge and support to Project Managers. Assist in setting production for unusual tasks. Closely monitor job productivities from PM reports. Work with Project Managers to ensure EWO's and Contract Changes are priced adequately and correctly. Immediately review plans and specs and then start engineering new jobs when they are awarded. Coordinate material purchases with field. Review all job site correspondence. Set up pre-job meetings with Project Managers Set up best manpower for each type of job. Attend job site meetings that PM cannot attend. Get to job sites as often as possible, in town twice a week out of town once a week. Hold regular foremen's meetings. Answer all weekly payroll questions. Document job site problems. Assist with job claims when required. Help PM produce monthly percentages of completion for billings. Recruit new help. Identify, promote, and break-in new foremen. Coordinate subcontractors. Plan and assist foremen on material loading on larger jobs
