This pivotal role involves overseeing all aspects of steel project execution, from planning and scheduling to quality control and safety compliance. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction management, with a focus on steel structures, and demonstrate exceptional leadership skills to coordinate teams, manage budgets, and ensure project milestones are achieved efficiently. Responsibilities Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of steel construction projects in , ensuring adherence to project schedules, budgets, and safety standards. Oversee the development of project schedules using software to optimize resource allocation and project timelines. Manage subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams by supervising daily operations on-site, ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations and company policies. Review blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to verify project specifications and facilitate accurate construction activities. Monitor quality control processes through regular inspections, utilizing tools such as ohmmeters for electrical testing and ensuring all work meets industry standards. Prepare detailed construction estimates and contracts using construction management software like ProCore and Bluebeam to support project planning and execution. Conduct site safety audits, enforce safety protocols, and promote a culture of safety awareness among all personnel involved in steel projects. Maintain comprehensive project documentation including progress reports, incident logs, change orders, and budget tracking to ensure transparency and accountability. Skills Extensive experience with construction management software including ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, HeavyBid, and other construction estimating tools. Strong knowledge of construction site operations specific to steel structures and heavy industrial projects. Proven ability in project scheduling, budgeting, contract management, and resource planning within a fast-paced environment. Supervising experience with a focus on team leadership, conflict resolution, and motivating staff toward common goals. Expertise in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, construction estimating, and quality control procedures. Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety standards applicable to heavy industrial construction sites. Skilled in using technical tools such as ohmmeters for electrical testing and understanding pipeline systems relevant to steel infrastructure projects.
