Duties Manage multiple asphalt paving and road construction projects simultaneously Lead the planning, scheduling, and execution of asphalt projects, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets. Coordinate with clients, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to facilitate seamless project flow and communication. Develop detailed project schedules using project management software to monitor progress and adjust plans proactively. Manage contracts, change orders, and procurement processes while maintaining compliance with safety regulations and quality standards. Oversee asphalt site activities, including site inspections, safety protocols, and quality assurance measures. Utilize asphalt estimating tools like Mapulator for cost control and resource allocation to maximize efficiency. Prepare comprehensive reports on project status, risks, and milestones for stakeholders; ensure timely resolution of issues that arise during construction phases. Skills Proven experience in asphalt project management with strong knowledge of construction site operations. Expertise in coordinating with estimators, field supervisors, and paving crews. Strong background in contracts management, construction estimating, and cost control practices. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively across multiple projects. Effective communication skills for coordinating teams, clients, vendors, and stakeholders at all levels. Familiarity with construction safety standards and site experience to ensure compliance throughout project lifecycle. Required Qualifications 5+ years experience in asphalt paving or road construction. 3+ years experience managing asphalt/construction projects. Strong knowledge of asphalt paving operations and materials. Experience with job costing and scheduling. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. Strong leadership and communication skills. Valid driver's license. Preferred Qualifications Experience with DOT or municipal paving projects. Familiarity with construction management software.
