Role Description A Construction Project Manager is a full-time office based role based in Buffalo Grove, IL. This role is responsible for leading construction projects from planning through closeout, including developing schedules, coordinating subcontractors, and managing day-to-day site activities. The Construction Project Manager will oversee budgeting, cost control, and change order management, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and in alignment with quality and safety standards. Responsibilities include managing project documentation, facilitating communication among clients, architects, engineers, and field teams, and resolving issues that may impact timelines or budgets. The role also involves regular site visits, progress reporting, and active participation in meetings to maintain project alignment and client satisfaction. Qualifications Demonstrated experience in Construction Project Management and Construction Management, overseeing projects from pre-construction through closeout. Proficiency in Project Management and Project Coordination, including scheduling, stakeholder communication, and document control. Strong Budgeting skills, with experience in cost estimating, cost tracking, and financial reporting for construction projects. Knowledge of building codes, construction methods, safety standards, and quality control practices. Proficiency with project management and construction software (e.g., MS Project, Procore, or similar tools). Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities on-site. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience. Previous experience managing commercial or design/build construction projects is highly beneficial.
Pay:
