Job Description:
Superintendent - Ground-Up Light Industrial / Big Box Construction I'm working with a family-owned Developer/GC that's been in business since 1927 and is continuing to grow throughout the Chicagoland market. They're looking to add a Superintendent with experience leading ground-up light industrial, warehouse, distribution, cold storage, or big box projects. What makes this opportunity stand out: Family-owned and operated for nearly 100 years Developer/GC that builds both for themselves and outside clients Strong pipeline of light industrial and cold storage projects Project portfolio includes light industrial, commercial, and sports complexes Around 35 employees, so culture, collaboration, and employee input matter Opportunity to work closely with leadership and have a direct impact on projects Long-term growth as the company continues expanding
Responsibilities:
Lead field operations on ground-up construction projects from start to completion Manage subcontractors, schedules, safety, and quality control Coordinate with project management teams, ownership, and design professionals Maintain project schedules and ensure milestones are met Drive a positive jobsite culture and maintain strong client relationships
Qualifications:
Experience as a Superintendent on ground-up projects Light industrial, warehouse, distribution center, cold storage, or big box experience preferred Strong scheduling and subcontractor management skills Proven track record delivering projects safely, on time, and within budget Ability to lead teams and communicate effectively with all project stakeholders Interested in learning more?
