Job Description:
The Construction Project Coordinator supports Project Managers across multiple active construction projects, ensuring documentation, schedules, and financial components remain accurate and aligned. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to proactively follow up on missing information to keep projects moving forward. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-driven, and comfortable reviewing contracts, tracking project documentation, and supporting invoicing and billing processes. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career who is eager to learn construction project operations and grow within a stable, values-driven organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Support Project Managers throughout all phases of construction projects Review contracts and identify key terms, exclusions, requirements, and potential gaps Maintain organization across multiple projects, ensuring financial data and documentation are accurate and aligned Track down missing information and proactively follow up to keep workflows moving Coordinate schedules, materials, and project-related logistics Maintain project files, documentation, and deliverables Prepare reports and provide general administrative support Monitor project timelines and communicate potential risks or delays Assist with project-related invoicing, billing, and AIA documentation Track billing schedules and due dates across multiple projects Act as a liaison between Project Managers, internal teams, and external partners
Qualifications:
2+ years of project-based administrative or coordination experience preferred College degree highly preferred Construction industry experience is a plus Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail Comfortable working with numbers, invoices, and billing concepts Proficiency in Microsoft Office / Microsoft 365 Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities Valid driver's license with a good driving record Reliable and consistent work history
Additional Details:
Direct hire, full-time position Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM (1-hour lunch) Business casual dress code Onsite role Interview process includes a virtual interview followed by an onsite meeting Personality, initiative, and critical thinking are key to success in this role
