A growing and well-established commercial general contractor in the Chicago area has an immediate opening for an experienced Project Executive with a strong background in industrial, warehouse/distribution, manufacturing, and food & beverage construction. Key Responsibilities Provide executive-level oversight of multiple commercial and industrial construction projects. Lead and mentor Project Managers, Superintendents, and project teams. Oversee projects from preconstruction through final completion. Manage project financial performance, budgets, schedules, and profitability. Work closely with estimating and preconstruction teams on project planning, budgeting, and execution. Develop and maintain strong relationships with owners, developers, subcontractors, and industry partners. Identify potential project risks and proactively develop solutions. Ensure projects meet company standards for quality, safety, scheduling, and client satisfaction. Support company growth and the continued development of the operations team. Qualifications 10+ years of commercial construction experience with a general contractor preferred. Previous experience as a Project Executive, Senior Project Manager, or Operations Leader. Strong project experience in industrial, warehouse/distribution, manufacturing, and/or food & beverage facilities. Experience overseeing multiple projects and managing project teams. Strong understanding of preconstruction, estimating, scheduling, contracts, and project financials. Proven ability to manage client relationships and lead successful project delivery. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
