We are currently seeking an Assistant Superintendent. This position is designed for someone looking to advance into a Superintendent role. CoreBuilt is committed to developing talented field leaders who demonstrate strong work ethic, leadership, accountability, and a commitment to delivering quality projects. Position Overview We are looking for a motivated Assistant Superintendent with commercial construction experience and a strong understanding of the trades. This role is ideal for someone who has worked in the field, supervised crews, and is ready to take the next step in their construction management career. The Assistant Superintendent will support the Superintendent and Project Manager in coordinating daily job-site activities, maintaining schedules, overseeing subcontractors, and ensuring work is completed safely and according to plan. The ideal candidate is hands-on, proactive, and willing to do whatever it takes to keep the project moving forward. What You'll Be Doing Assist with day-to-day job-site operations and field coordination Help manage subcontractors, suppliers, and trade partners to maintain project schedules Coordinate daily work activities and ensure crews have what they need to be productive Review drawings and specifications to understand project requirements Monitor workmanship and ensure quality standards are met Track project progress and communicate updates to the Superintendent and Project Manager Help identify and resolve field issues before they impact schedule or quality Coordinate inspections, deliveries, and site logistics Enforce job-site safety standards and maintain a clean, organized work environment Assist with punch list completion and project closeout activities Build positive relationships with clients, subcontractors, and field personnel Perform hands-on work when necessary to help maintain project momentum What We're Looking For 3-5 years of commercial construction or trades experience Background in one or more construction trades preferred Previous experience leading crews or field personnel Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications Strong understanding of commercial construction practices and job-site operations Self-motivated individual who takes pride in producing quality work Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and adapting to changing priorities Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn Dependable, organized, and detail-oriented Excellent communication skills with both field and office teams Willingness to travel and work flexible hours when required Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Tools & Skills Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Excel, and Outlook preferred Basic scheduling experience is a plus Strong organizational and leadership abilities Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously Hands-on construction experience strongly preferred Multilingual skills are a plus
