Project Superintendent Brewster Companies, Inc. is a family owned and operated company that specializes in heavy civil and transportation construction. The Project Superintendent position manages union laborers and operators on Heavy Highway Civil projects within the in St. Louis Metro Area. Our supervisors are required to have strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills. Job Duties:
Reviews Contract Documents Manages and leads operators and laborers throughout the duration of the project Schedules workers for daily tasks on each project Manages day to day operationssafety for each project Assists in gathering data for billing purposes Reviews and approves materials and equipment for project work. Coordinatesactivities,materials,procurement,&otherrelatedactivitieswithProjectManager&FieldStaff Communicates progress and prepares appropriate reports as needed by Project Manager, Project Director, Owner's Rep, Architect, Represents company at weekly Project Owner's meetings Responsiblefortheschedulingandperformanceofalloperatorsandlaborerson each project Supervises, reviews, and coordinates submittals Ability to build and execute a project according to plan
Qualifications:
1+ years of experience in Construction General understanding of reading plansspecifications in accordance to the construction of a project. General understanding of the
IDOTMODOT
standard specification for road and bridge construction. Knowledge of pay items and job costing. GPS knowledge is a plus
Pay:
$75,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
