Job Description
You're not looking for another Superintendent job where you spend your day waiting for someone to tell you what happens next. You know how to take a project, own the site, manage the trades, and keep things moving. Here, you'll be trusted to run projects from start to finish with the autonomy to make decisions, solve problems, and keep the job on track. You'll be responsible for Running the jobsite from mobilization through completion, keeping safety, quality, and schedule where they need to be. Directing subcontractors, vendors, and consultants and making sure the right manpower is in place. Building and managing schedules, including three-week lookaheads, inspections, and weekly coordination. Catching conflicts between drawings and field conditions before they become expensive problems. Working directly with clients, architects, consultants, and contractors to resolve issues and keep communication clear. Holding subcontractors accountable for their scope, quality, schedule, and deficiencies. Maintaining a clean, organized site and the documentation needed to keep the entire project team aligned. What you get You'll work on high-end retail, hospitality, restaurant, and other experiential projects where the finished product matters. You'll also have the opportunity to build a diverse project portfolio rather than getting stuck doing the same type of work over and over. The compensation range is $110,000-$135,000 , and this is a traveling position, so you'll need to be comfortable spending extended stretches on the road depending on where the project takes you. You're probably a fit if you can walk onto a jobsite, understand what needs to happen, and get people moving without needing constant direction. You're organized, diplomatic when you need to be, firm when you need to be, and comfortable owning the outcome. Three or more years of Superintendent experience and a strong understanding of the trades are required; high-end retail, restaurant, or multifamily experience is a plus.
