This is a Salaried position.
Overview:
POSITION SUMMARY
The General Manager Pointcore Construction provides strategic and operational oversight of the company. This leader is responsible for leading and managing business operations, construction management and project delivery, business development, and client advocacy to obtain and maintain clients and client trust. The General Manager Pointcore Construction ensures all existing client expectations are exceeded and effectively utilizes business acumen to lead a team of design and construction professionals capable of managing significant healthcare projects successfully.
Qualifications:
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, construction management, engineering, architecture, or a related field.
Experience:
10 years of experience in the planning, design, construction industry, or related field.
Licensure/ Certification:
Active state driver's license.
Other Skills/ Knowledge:
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Exemplary attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. Exemplary leadership and management skills. Thorough understanding of construction delivery methods, and the nuances among those methods including Construction Manager as Agent (CMA), Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR), and Design/Build. Basic understanding of construction project scheduling and sequencing. Basic understanding of the collective design process inclusive or programming, schematic design, design development, and construction administration. Basic understanding, experience, and knowledge of legal considerations associated with operating a business.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
Master's degree in business administration, construction management, engineering, architecture, or a related field.
Experience:
15 years of experience in the planning, design, construction industry, or related field.
Licensure/ Certification:
Certified Healthcare Constructor (CHC).
Other Skills/ Knowledge:
Mastery of construction delivery methods, and the nuances among those methods including Construction Manager as Agent (CMA), Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR), and Design/Build. Advanced understanding of construction project scheduling and sequencing. Advanced understanding of the collective design process inclusive or programming, schematic design, design development, and construction administration.
