Banyan Construction Services is a growing commercial general contractor focused on delivering high-quality projects with a client-first experience. We are looking for a high-performing Project Manager to join our team in a hybrid role that spans both preconstruction and project execution. This is not a narrow, single-lane position. This role is ideal for someone who wants to see a project from concept through closeout — and have real ownership of results. What You'll Do Depending on project needs and your strengths, you will work in estimating, project management, or both.

Preconstruction / Estimating

Perform building takeoffs from plans and specs Solicit and level subcontractor bids Develop detailed cost estimates and budgets Identify scope gaps and value engineering opportunities Build proposals and support client presentations Assist in conceptual budgeting and early feasibility pricing Project Management Hire and manage subcontractors Build and maintain project schedules Lead owner meetings and coordinate communication Manage procurement and long-lead items Process change orders and budget updates Conduct site visits and quality checks Ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who: Experienced in commercial construction (GC experience preferred) Can read drawings and specifications confidently Thinks financially and understands job cost structure Communicates clearly with owners, subs, and internal teams Is organized, proactive, and solution-oriented Takes ownership — not just responsibility Experience 3+ years in estimating, project management, or both Commercial construction experience preferred Experience with budgeting, subcontractor negotiation, and schedule management Familiarity with construction management software (Procore experience a plus) Who Thrives Here Builders who care about margins Professionals who enjoy both the analytical and relational sides of construction People who want autonomy and accountability Those who prefer a growing, agile company over a corporate bureaucracy Why Banyan Direct exposure to leadership Growth opportunities as we scale Competitive salary + annual profit sharing Health benefits 401(k) Paid time off We're building something special — and we're selective about who we bring on.
