Overview Electrical Superintendent Indianapolis, IN Build Projects You'll Be Proud Of. At FSG, our Superintendents don't just oversee electrical installations—they lead the field operations that bring major commercial construction projects to life. We're looking for an experienced Electrical Superintendent who can lead crews, coordinate with project management, drive production, maintain an exceptional safety culture, and deliver projects on schedule and within budget. Responsibilities Lead all field operations on commercial electrical construction projects Manage multiple Foremen and field crews while maintaining productivity and quality Develop manpower plans and coordinate labor requirements throughout the life of the project Partner with Project Managers to maintain schedules, budgets, and customer expectations Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, equipment, and material deliveries Conduct weekly planning meetings and short-interval scheduling Review drawings, specifications, RFIs, and change orders Ensure installations comply with NEC, local codes, and project specifications Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, inspectors, GCs, architects, and trade partners Identify potential project risks early and develop solutions before they impact schedule Maintain daily reports, production tracking, manpower forecasts, and project documentation Mentor Foremen and help develop the next generation of field leaders Champion FSG's safety culture by ensuring every employee goes home safely every day Qualifications 7+ years of commercial electrical construction experience Previous experience as an Electrical Superintendent, General Foreman, or Senior Foreman Proven ability to manage crews on ground-up commercial construction projects Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) Experience reading construction drawings, specifications, and schedules Excellent leadership and communication skills Ability to manage manpower, productivity, and project schedules simultaneously Experience working alongside Project Managers and General Contractors OSHA 30 certification preferred Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software is a plus Benefits $100,000-$125,000 Annual Salary Phone Allowance Company vehicle or vehicle allowance Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company match Paid Time Off and paid holidays Career advancement opportunities throughout one of the nation's largest electrical contractors Ongoing leadership and professional development The opportunity to lead high-profile commercial electrical projects with a company that values safety, quality, and teamwork About FSG Facility Solutions Group is one of the largest electrical contractors in the United States, with more than 3,000 employees nationwide and over $1 billion in annual project work.
