Senior Project Manager, Industrial Construction (Northwest Indiana)

Pay:
$120,000 - $170,000 + bonus + benefits About the Role Our client is an established, privately held industrial contractor with in-house design, fabrication, and installation capabilities. They need a senior project leader in Northwest Indiana to run their larger, more complex projects, with significant autonomy over commercial, technical, and team decisions. You'll lead single projects up to $75M, or a portfolio up to $100M, and help grow the company's pipeline of new work.
Responsibilities Lead self-perform strategy:
crew sizing, multi-shift planning, prefabrication, and equipment decisions Lead complex subcontractor strategy, negotiate non-standard terms, and resolve significant claims Own complex contract structures (GMP, cost-plus, design-build, IPD, P3) Serve as the executive-level point of contact for owners on cost, schedule, and constructability Serve as named PM in pursuits and interviews, shape pricing strategy, and build client relationships Lead and mentor PMs and high-potential APMs Lead preconstruction and bid strategy between project assignments Act as a visible safety leader Qualifications Bachelor's degree plus 10-15 years of progressive construction management experience with multiple projects delivered as PM, or 18+ years of combined experience, including multiple successful projects at the PM level OSHA 30 required Strong commercial judgment and executive-level client management Experience leading senior project staff and superintendents
