Job Description

The Site Manager at Hoel Roofing is responsible for overseeing on-site operations, ensuring quality control, safety, and smooth project execution. This role involves conducting both initial and final walkthroughs, handling material logistics, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, documenting the job, and submitting detailed paperwork upon completion. The Site Manager will also maintain customer communication and ensure that all work meets company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Quality Control:
Directly responsible for maintaining high standards of quality control throughout each project. Ensure that all aspects of the job are performed correctly and according to company expectations.
Initial Walkthrough:
Perform an initial walkthrough of the job site to assess the area before starting work. Identify and remove any hazardous materials or objects to ensure a safe working environment.
Material Management:
Double-check material lists for accuracy before the job begins. Pick up and deliver any additional materials needed during the job to prevent delays. After job completion, submit paperwork that includes a list of leftover materials and receipts for any additional materials used on the job.
Job Site Cleanliness:
Ensure the job site remains clean and free of trash throughout the project. Remove any hazardous materials or objects found during the initial walkthrough. Coordinate the removal of debris and waste from the site to maintain a safe and professional work environment.
Documentation:
Take pictures of the job at various stages to document progress. Submit the final production checklist, ensuring it mirrors the sales representative's production checklist, to verify that all work has been completed as agreed.
Customer Communication:
Maintain regular communication with the customer throughout the project to keep them informed about progress. Address any concerns or questions the customer may have promptly.
Final Walkthrough:
Perform a final walkthrough with the customer when the job is complete to ensure everything has been done correctly. Ensure that any items or objects moved or rearranged during the job are returned to their original positions. Verify that all work meets the company's quality standards and the customer's expectations before signing off on the project.
Qualifications:
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Good communication skills for interacting with both customers and the internal team.
Additional Skills:
Ability to manage multiple tasks, including material logistics and maintaining site cleanliness. Strong documentation skills, with the ability to track project progress and submit final paperwork. A proactive approach to problem-solving, especially regarding quality control and material shortages. The Site Manager ensures that each roofing job is completed to the highest standard, managing everything from materials and quality control to customer communication and final inspections.
Pay:
$40,000.00 per year
