Job Description
Job Description We are seeking an experienced Construction Quality Manager to support the construction of a large-scale Data Center. This individual will lead all quality control, quality management, and commissioning efforts from the construction side, ensuring work is completed in accordance with project specifications, quality standards, and client requirements. Responsibilities
+ Manage site-wide quality control and quality assurance programs.
+ Lead commissioning activities and coordinate successful project turnover.
+ Oversee inspections, testing, documentation, punch lists, and corrective action processes.
+ Supervise and develop quality personnel and direct reports.
+ Partner with project management, field teams, subcontractors, and owners to ensure quality standards are met throughout the project lifecycle. Essential Skills + 7-10+ years of experience in construction quality management, quality control, or commissioning.
+ Previous experience leading teams and managing direct reports.
+ Experience on data center, mission-critical, industrial, or large-scale commercial projects preferred.
+ Knowledge of MEP systems and startup/commissioning processes.
+ Experience managing quality documentation, submittals, RFIs, and turnover packages.
+ Ability to conduct audits, inspections, and root cause analysis.
+ Familiarity with AWS, hyperscale data center, or mission-critical construction environments.
+ OSHA 30 certification preferred. Work Environment Based on an active Data Center construction project in South Bend, IN. The typical schedule is approximately 50 hours per week, primarily Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend work as project demands require. Travel home schedules will vary by candidate and project needs and will be coordinated with the Project Director. Per diem of approximately $3,000
