+ Remodel (RKC) is an Inc. 5000 design-build remodeling firm serving the Kansas City metro. We started in 2020 and have grown to a team of 30+ designers, project managers, construction managers, and in-house field crew. Because design and construction live under one roof, every project is built by a team that knows the plan inside and out, and more of our work is self-performed by our own crew every year. The Role We're looking for a Construction Manager to run our jobsites from day one of construction through the final walkthrough. This is a working management role: you'll lead the site and keep the project moving, and you'll also have your tools on and self-perform a significant share of the work. You'll partner with our project managers, designers, field crew, and trade partners on kitchens, baths, basements, whole-home renovations, and additions. What You'll Do Run day-to-day jobsite operations and keep sites safe, clean, and organized Self-perform work such as demo, framing, trim carpentry, drywall repair, and punch list Schedule and coordinate subcontractors, field crew, deliveries, and inspections in a logical sequence Read the plans and selections, and make sure what gets built matches the design Partner with the project manager on schedule, budget, and change orders Spot problems early and solve them in the field before they become delays Keep clients informed and confident through clear, consistent communication Document progress with daily logs and photos in JobTread Hold every trade to RKC's quality standards and own the punch list through closeout What You Bring 2+ years of construction management, site supervision, or lead carpenter experience, with residential remodeling strongly preferred Hands-on skills across multiple trades and a willingness to self-perform Knowledge of residential construction from demo to final finishes Ability to read blueprints and working knowledge of building codes and inspections Strong communication with clients, crew, and subcontractors Leadership that keeps a team moving and holds people accountable Organized, detail-driven, and calm when the job throws a curveball Comfortable with job management software (JobTread experience a plus) Valid driver's license and reliable transportation What We Offer Competitive salary plus performance-based bonuses Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and holidays Room to grow with a company that's adding crew and taking on bigger projects A collaborative team where design, PMs, procurement, and crew work side by side Work you can be proud of in the homes of clients who keep coming back To Apply Send your resume to [email].
