We are currently seeking an Installation Manager who has the same drive to deliver operational excellence and customer success in complex industrial environments.
This role is responsible for end-to-end coordination and execution of large-scale machine tool installation projects, serving as the critical bridge between project management, engineering, and field execution teams. Key Responsibilities

Your role will be to:
Project Leadership & Execution Manage installation projects across the full lifecycle, including pre-order planning, execution, schedule management, cost control, and final acceptance
Partner with Proposal and Project Management teams to conduct order reviews and risk assessments prior to project launch
Ensure alignment between project plans, schedules, budgets, and field execution Field Installation & On-Site Operations Lead on-site installation of large CNC machine tools, metal cutting equipment, and industrial manufacturing systems, including: Rigging and placement
Assembly and mechanical installation
Alignment, leveling, anchoring, and integration Coordinate and oversee field service technicians, electricians, millwrights, riggers, subcontractors, and customer resources
Support commissioning and startup activities, ensuring accurate documentation and successful system handoff Customer & Site Leadership Act as the primary on-site leader and interface for installation activities
Communicate project progress, site conditions, risks, and issue resolution clearly to customers and internal stakeholders
Ensure strong alignment between customer expectations and contractual commitments Safety, Quality & Risk Management Enforce strict adherence to safety standards, site regulations, and customer-specific requirements
Ensure compliance with installation procedures, engineering standards, and quality expectations
Proactively identify and mitigate project risks, delays, and technical challenges Documentation, Reporting & Continuous Improvement Maintain complete and accurate installation documentation, including service reports, alignment books, test records, schematics, and issue logs
Ensure timely submission of weekly service reports and project updates
Track labor hours, installation performance, and project data to support continuous improvement and future bid accuracy Logistics, Planning & Resource Management Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure installation kits, tools, and materials are properly prepared and delivered
Manage parts tracking, shortage resolution, and field inventory coordination
Plan and optimize on-site manpower, subcontractor schedules, and rigging activities, including lift planning and sequencing Cross-Functional Collaboration Serve as the central point of coordination between Engineering, Project Management, Service, and Leadership teams
Communicate technical issues, milestones, and resourcing needs to ensure seamless execution
Support procurement timing and supplier coordination for uninterrupted installation activities Qualifications
Experience Minimum of 5+ years of experience in: Machine tool installation
Industrial equipment assembly or commissioning
Field service or manufacturing installation environments Proven experience leading multi-disciplinary field teams and subcontractors Technical Expertise Strong knowledge of CNC machine tools, heavy industrial equipment, and advanced manufacturing systems
Experience with rigging operations, precision alignment, and large-scale installations
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and installation plans Key Skills & Competencies Strong leadership and on-site team coordination capabilities
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Working knowledge of SAP, Salesforce, or ERP systems
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Project, PowerPoint)
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities in complex, fast-paced field environments
Data-driven mindset with ability to track and analyze installation performance metrics
