Long Term Placement Preconstruction Manager Responsibilities:

Lead pursuit strategies, RFP responses, and client interviews Oversee the preconstruction process from initial concept through handoff to operations Manage design coordination, estimating efforts, procurement strategies, and early trade partner involvement Develop conceptual budgets and detailed estimates while tracking cost trends and market conditions Collaborate with Estimating, Operations, Safety, and Purchasing teams to align scope, schedules, logistics, and procurement plans Provide value-added input on cost, constructability, and means and methods Lead and mentor preconstruction team members, fostering growth and development Ensure a smooth transition from preconstruction into active construction phases Preconstruction Manager Qualifications Minimum 10+ years of progressive construction experience, including client-facing leadership roles Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to lead teams and influence outcomes Deep understanding of preconstruction processes, design coordination, and estimating practices Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel Experience with Procore and CMiC preferred Working knowledge of design and engineering disciplines Bachelor's degree preferred (or equivalent experience) TalentLogistiX is a workforce business solutions provider.
