You'll encounter a broad spectrum of cases—ranging from cardiac events and traumas to post-transplant complications—caring for patients of all ages and backgrounds. Nights:

1900-0700 Every third weekend required No on-call shifts Holiday rotations and flexible scheduling considered

Qualifications:

Active RN license (KY or compact) Minimum 2 years of ER nursing experience (any trauma level)

BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS

certifications required Proficiency with IV starts, NG/foley insertion, neuro assessments, triage, codes, and critical drips Strong leadership, adaptability, and teamwork skills Cerner EMR experience preferred

Responsibilities:

Assess and treat emergency patients with varied diagnoses (trauma, sepsis, cardiac, respiratory, etc.) Lead by example and act as an ER subject matter expert Perform and assist in procedures, administer sedation, and manage complex medical situations Collaborate with 24/7 charge nurse, ER physicians, hospitalists, and multi-disciplinary teams
