Patio Center is looking for an experienced Commercial Construction Project Manager & Estimator to join our growing team. This is a hands-on position overseeing commercial projects from estimating and project setup through installation and completion. You'll work directly with general contractors, customers, crews, subcontractors, and vendors to make sure projects are completed safely, on time, and to Patio Center's high standards. And unlike many construction project management positions, you'll have a consistent 7 AM-4 PM, Monday-Friday schedule. Your evenings are yours. Occasional weekend work may be required for special projects or company events, but weekends are not a regular part of the schedule. You'll work closely with Greg Eckler, owner of Patio Center , who brings more than 30 years of construction superintendent experience. Greg will provide leadership and support while you take ownership of day-to-day project management. We are looking for someone who understands construction, can manage a job site, communicate with contractors and customers, and keep multiple projects moving. Key ResponsibilitiesProject Management Manage commercial projects from start to finish Coordinate job-site operations and project schedules Manage installation crews and subcontractors Coordinate materials, deliveries, and equipment Communicate with general contractors, customers, vendors, and internal team members Monitor project timelines, labor, materials, and progress Conduct job-site inspections Identify and resolve problems proactively Ensure projects meet Patio Center quality standards Maintain safe and organized job sites Provide regular project updates to ownership Document project progress with photos and job notes Estimating Review blueprints, plans, specifications, and project requirements Prepare estimates and proposals for commercial projects Perform job-site measurements Determine materials, labor, and subcontractor requirements Obtain vendor pricing and coordinate material availability Assist with project planning and scheduling Identify opportunities to improve project profitability Commercial Account Development Develop relationships with general contractors, builders, architects, and commercial customers Maintain relationships with existing commercial accounts Identify new commercial project opportunities Represent Patio Center professionally in the construction industry Assist with commercial marketing and business development What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who can take ownership and get the job done. Required 5+ years of construction management, superintendent, project management, or estimating experience Strong knowledge of construction practices and job-site operations Commercial construction experience Experience managing crews and subcontractors Ability to read and understand blueprints and construction plans Strong organizational and time-management skills Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Valid driver's license Preferred Experience working with general contractors Experience with outdoor structures, patio covers, awnings, pergolas, shade systems, or similar construction Experience with permitting and inspections Construction estimating experience Experience with project management software Established relationships within the commercial construction industry About Patio Center Patio Center is an established Louisiana company with decades of experience serving homeowners, builders, contractors, and commercial customers.
