Job Description
Primary Responsibilities:
The Construction Superintendent is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the construction mechanical and electrical teams.Uphold RoyOMartin vision and values:
respect, integrity, commitment, honesty, excellence, and stewardship Committed to maintaining a positive safety culture including the safety of self and others Provide leadership to the construction mechanical and electrical teams Lead efforts to achieve world-class goals: safety, quality, schedule, cost performance, team development, and compliance Develop and maintain a workforce that is experienced, motivated, and committed to organizational objectives Serve as key resource and point of contact between facility leadership, project managers, and engineers on project work. Implement, monitor, and drive project scheduling and completion Lead meetings with stakeholders to provide project updates while addressing issues and resolving conflicts as needed Plan and execute multi-site project and maintenance operations for the crews while efficiently utilizing assets and resources to minimize costJob Experience:
Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage complex projects, solve problems, and effectively lead people and resources to achieve results Required Skills 5+ years of proven ability in leadership In-depth knowledge of construction and maintenance principles Proficiency in Microsoft Office Preferred Skills Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, construction management, or related field Familiarity with blueprints, AutoCAD, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies CDL or ability to obtain and maintainCDL Behavioral Skills:
