Landscape Construction Field Superintendent

Summary The Landscape Construction Field Superintendent is responsible for overseeing daily operations at a worksite to ensure the completion of projects in an efficient manner, supervises and troubleshoots all issues that occur on the job site, and ensures safety rules are always followed.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Assist Project Manager with all aspects of assigned projects. Identify and communicate need for changes in scope to Project Manager. Assist Project Manager with submittal packages and buyout projects, as needed. Produce general work schedule with Operations Manager & Project Manager. Produce & update 3-week look-ahead schedules throughout project. Oversee crew to maintain work schedule, update as required. Material Procurement for crews on a timely basis. Attend jobsite meetings/progress meetings. Prepare and review production reports with Operations Manager. Meet with crews and review project timeline. Approve time sheets for all assigned projects and submit to payroll using HCSS software. Oversee all safety compliance with crews and equipment on the job. Ensure the work meets Onyx quality standards and project specifications.

Required Skills/Abilities:

Proven experience as onsite Foreman or Superintendent. In-depth knowledge of construction procedures and equipment operations. OSHA 30 certification. Ability to read drawings, plans and blueprints. Excellent organizational and leadership skills. Ability to effectively communicate with workers on site, report project status and issues that may arise to the Project Manager and company ownership. Aptitude in math. Problem-solving and multitasking abilities required to respond in a fast-paced construction environment.

Education and Experience:

Valid driver's license 5+ years' experience in the Landscape Construction industry High school graduate

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to work outdoors in all types of weather, including extremely hot and extremely cold temperatures. Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds. Pay:

$68,335.17 - $82,296.13 per year
