The Foreman is responsible for ensuring quality workmanship, crew productivity, and customer satisfaction on every job site. Responsibilities Lead and supervise a crew of 2-6 laborers on residential, commercial, and municipal sealcoating projects Operate and maintain sealcoating equipment including spray systems, squeegee machines, crack fill melters, and line striping equipment Prepare surfaces prior to application — including cleaning, blowing, and crack filling Mix and apply sealcoat materials according to manufacturer specifications and company standards Manage daily job schedules, ensure crews arrive on time, and complete jobs efficiently Communicate professionally with customers on-site regarding project scope, timelines, and any concerns Conduct pre- and post-job site inspections to ensure quality control Track and manage material usage, equipment, and crew hours Train and mentor new crew members on safety practices and application techniques Ensure compliance with all OSHA safety regulations and company safety policies Complete daily job reports, timesheets, and site documentation as required Perform minor equipment maintenance and report larger mechanical issues to management
