FIELD SUPERINTENDENT

Amesbury, Massachusetts Responsibilities:
This position will include performing various supervisory functions. These responsibilities/functions may include but are not limited to the following: Prepares the project schedule and provides updates regularly, maintains reports accurately describing project status Responsible for the timely and cost-effective field coordination, quality control and day-to-day supervision of subcontracted work forces for construction projects Reviews status and project progress with the Project Manager and client representatives on a regular basis Analyzes manpower, material, equipment requirements, and interfaces the requirements with others as designated by supervising superintendent Directs subcontractor activities within commercial fit-outs for interior projects Maintain and verify LEED requirements Implements and enforces policies, procedures, and related work rules as established by field construction management Prepares reports and forecasts, as required, and keeps supervisors informed on progress of overall assigned activities Ensures safety standards and requirements are implemented and adhered to by craftsmen and others when in the operational area, tools and equipment are in safe condition and operated safely
Required Competencies/Skills:
Strong problem-solving skills Ability to multitask Exceptional attention to detail Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Ability to lift up to 60 lbs Construction jobsite experience 5 years supervisory experience Experience with email and ability to learn company-specific programs and software Construction background required Submissions from third-party recruiters will not be considered and will be treated as direct applicants.
