Full Job Description Position Summary:
The Superintendent Mechanical Construction is responsible for field operations and technical support on the project assigned to achieve the safe, timely and profitable completion of each project.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent combination of technical training and related work experience. 7+ years' experience in a construction site leadership role in underground or utility construction site supervision with responsibility for projects $4M
  • $8M involving complex piping and heavy rigging components Proven knowledge of pump and machine repair, basic electrical knowledge; craft agreements, jurisdiction, negotiations; engineering, cost control schedules and safety required.
Knowledge and understanding of the general and subcontract documents, drawings and specifications, construction means, methods and materials, understanding of line and grade and survey methods. Knowledge of construction cost control and basic accounting procedures. Proficient with MS Office and construction related ERP, scheduling and estimating software platforms (e.g. Primavera, Procore, COINS). Strong management, leadership and interpersonal skills combined with the ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing. OSHA-10 Certification required (company-supported if not current), DOT Medical Card (assistance provided), valid U.S. driver's license, successful drug screen, background check, and motor vehicle review (MVR) per regulations.
