Paid Time Off, Paid Holidays, Tool Allowance, Performance Bonus Opportunities Position Overview A growing landscape construction company is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee hardscape and landscape installation projects from planning through completion. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for managing field operations, coordinating crews, maintaining project schedules, and ensuring high-quality workmanship across residential and commercial projects. The ideal candidate has experience leading landscape or construction crews, interpreting plans and specifications, managing multiple priorities in the field, and delivering projects safely, efficiently, and on schedule. Key Responsibilities Lead day-to-day execution of landscape construction and hardscape installation projects Supervise, mentor, and develop field crews while maintaining productivity, safety, and quality standards Read and interpret construction drawings, site plans, grading plans, and landscape designs Coordinate project schedules, labor resources, materials, equipment, and subcontractors as needed Monitor project progress and communicate updates to management and clients Ensure installations meet company quality standards and project specifications Oversee site preparation, layout, construction sequencing, and final project completion Proactively identify and resolve field challenges to minimize delays and maintain project timelines Maintain safe, organized, and efficient job sites Assist with project estimating, budgeting, and scope development when required Track materials, equipment usage, and project documentation Qualifications 3+ years of experience in landscape construction, hardscape installation, site work, masonry, or related construction fields Previous experience leading crews or managing field operations Strong understanding of landscape construction methods and project execution Ability to read and interpret plans, blueprints, and construction drawings Experience coordinating multiple tasks and maintaining project schedules Excellent communication and leadership skills Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to work outdoors and perform physical aspects of the job when necessary Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs. With that said, as required by local law in geographies that require salary range disclosure, Vaco/Highspring notes the salary range for the role is noted in this job posting. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, and can participate in medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as the company's 401(k) retirement plan.
