About Our Client About the client: Office in Boston, MA Projects in Downtown Boston 30+ employees Lead and Operate projects up to $30M Go getter, entrepreneurial mind set, client facing, looking to help grow the business Family owned and Operated Projects range from brownstone renovations to retail fit outs and everything in between Job Description Oversee and manage all on-site construction activities to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure clear communication and efficient operations. Maintain a safe work environment by enforcing safety standards and addressing potential hazards. Monitor project progress, including scheduling, quality control, and adherence to design specifications. Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during construction to minimize delays or disruptions. Prepare and maintain accurate daily logs and progress reports for each project. Ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations. Provide leadership and direction to construction teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment. The Successful Applicant A successful Superintendent should have: Proven experience managing construction projects in the property industry. Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety standards, and building codes. Excellent leadership and communication skills to manage teams and coordinate with stakeholders. Proficiency in project management software and tools. A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making under pressure. Ability to interpret and execute architectural and engineering plans.
