Braintree, MA A rapidly growing national construction firm is seeking an Area Safety Manager to join its growing team in the Quincy/ Braintree area. As the company continues to expand its self-perform operations across the Northeast, this individual will play a key role in supporting work acquisition and pricing strategy. This is a high-impact position responsible for large-scale construction projects across the Greater Boston market. Key Responsibilities of the
Area Safety Manager:
Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety requirements by coordinating, promoting, and implementing programs within the company's EHS management system. Foster a strong safety culture by evaluating operations and confirming adherence to company policies, standards, and procedures. Work independently while delivering prompt, honest, and objective feedback to leadership when non-compliance is identified. Partner with site leadership to organize and deliver employee training and development initiatives. Advise operations teams on meeting OSHA, EPA, NFPA, and applicable local safety regulations. Qualifications of the
Area Safety Manager:
Strong hands-on commercial construction experience, preferably within self-perform. Bachelor's degree in Health & Safety, Construction Management, or a related field; equivalent experience and certifications may be considered. Willingness to travel up to 50% to local projects across the Greater Boston market. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; OSHA 30/40-hour certification preferred. Why Join the
