Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Construction Project Manager/Assistant Project Manager (APM) to lead and coordinate complex infrastructure projects from inception to completion. In this role, you will oversee all aspects of construction management, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with all safety and regulatory standards. Duties Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of construction projects, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, and budget parameters. Coordinate project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar project management software to optimize timelines and resource allocation. Review and interpret construction plans, schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to guide project execution. Manage construction budgets by tracking costs, controlling expenses, and implementing cost management strategies. Oversee construction site activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and environmental standards. Collaborate with engineers, architects, subcontractors, and clients to facilitate smooth project communication and problem-solving. Utilize construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, HeavyBid, Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office tools for documentation, reporting, and project tracking. Supervise teams on-site by managing schedules, assigning tasks, and ensuring quality standards are met throughout the project lifecycle. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, address issues promptly, and ensure adherence to construction plans. Ensure all projects comply with local construction regulations and contractual obligations while maintaining high safety standards. Read blueprints and schematics accurately to coordinate construction activities effectively. Manage contracts with vendors and subcontractors to ensure scope clarity and performance expectations are met. Lead project meetings to review progress updates, resolve conflicts, and adjust schedules as needed for optimal delivery. Qualifications Proven experience in construction management or as a civil engineer with a strong background in infrastructure or commercial projects. Extensive knowledge of construction scheduling tools such as Primavera P6 or similar software. Proficiency in project management software including ProCore, Bluebeam, HeavyBid, Civil 3D, Microsoft Office Suite. Strong understanding of construction estimating processes and cost management techniques. Hands-on experience managing teams in a construction environment with a focus on safety and quality control. Familiarity with construction regulatory compliance standards and safety protocols. Ability to read complex construction plans and schematics accurately for effective project coordination. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks efficiently under tight deadlines. Strong leadership qualities with excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement at all levels. Construction site experience demonstrating practical knowledge of day-to-day operations on large-scale projects.

Pay:

$72,785.27 - $110,000.00 per year
