A Construction Superintendent runs day-to-day operations on a construction site and controls the short-term schedule on the site. Also performs important quality control and coordinates subcontractors. Often works in cooperation with construction project manager.
Permanent/Direct-Hire Lead the construction of high-end, single-family homes from start to finish while working with skilled trade partners and a collaborative project team. What You'll Do Oversee daily construction activities, trade partners, schedules, and job-site coordination. Manage quality control and ensure work meets plans, specifications, building codes, and company standards. Conduct daily site inspections and maintain a safe, clean, and organized community. Monitor schedules, identify potential delays, and adjust resources to keep homes on track. Review construction drawings and coordinate resolutions to plan conflicts or issues. Partner with Sales, Purchasing, Product Development, and other teams to improve schedules, quality, and trade performance. Ensure compliance with safety, permitting, stormwater, and regulatory requirements. Help recruit, evaluate, and develop trade partners. What You Bring 5+ years of relevant residential construction experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Strong knowledge of single-family home construction and building codes. Proven ability to manage trade partners and multiple construction activities in a high-production environment. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications. Strong scheduling, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Commitment to quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
