Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Supervisor to oversee construction projects and manage on-site operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a comprehensive understanding of construction processes, and the ability to read blueprints effectively. The Supervisor will play a crucial role in ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget while maintaining high-quality standards. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily activities of construction crews on-site. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment. Read and interpret blueprints to guide construction processes. Manage project timelines, ensuring that all tasks are completed according to schedule. Conduct regular inspections of work performed to ensure quality standards are met. Utilize tools such as an Ohmmeter for electrical work as needed. Collaborate with project managers to provide accurate construction estimating and contract management. Maintain clear communication with team members regarding project updates and changes. Train and mentor new employees, fostering a productive team environment. Utilize ProCore or similar software for project management documentation. Experience Proven experience in a Supervisor role or similar supervisory position within the construction industry. Strong knowledge of pipeline construction processes and techniques. Familiarity with construction site operations and management best practices. Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding technical specifications. Experience with construction estimating and contract management is preferred. Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
