Location:
Quincy Position Overview:
The Commercial Construction Project Manager will play a crucial role in supporting the successful execution of construction projects. Working closely with the project management team, the incumbent will contribute to the planning, coordination, and supervision of various construction activities. Must have experience managing multiple projects at once over a million dollars. Key Responsibilities of commercial construction project manager
Project Planning and Coordination:
Developing project plans, schedules, and budgets. Coordinate with various stakeholders, including architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers. Participate in project meetings to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Budget Management:
Monitoring project budgets and financial performance. Track expenses, analyze variances, and make recommendations for cost control.
Quality Control:
Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to ensure adherence to project specifications and standards. Conduct regular site inspections to identify and address any quality issues.
Risk Management:
Identify potential risks and challenges and work with the project team to develop mitigation strategies. Prepare contingency plans to address unforeseen circumstances.
Document Management:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including drawings, contracts, and correspondence. Preparation of progress reports and other project-related documentation.
Safety Compliance:
Promote and enforce adherence to safety protocols and regulations on the construction site. Qualifications of commercial construction project manager
Experience:
2 to 5 plus years as PM Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. experience in the commercial /residential construction industry Strong understanding of construction processes, codes, and regulations. Ability to manage multiple projects at once Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
