The Opportunity:

As a Superintendent, you will represent the company on site, leading project execution while fostering a safe, collaborative, and productive environment. This opportunity is ideal for a hands-on construction professional who takes pride in sound judgment, strong relationships, and successful project outcomes.

Responsibilities:

Administer and enforce company and project-specific safety programs. Identify, assess, and correct jobsite safety hazards proactively. Develop and maintain

NFPA 241

plans, Emergency Action Plans, Construction Management Plans, and related safety documentation. Develop, execute, and maintain project schedules to meet milestones and deadlines. Manage subcontractor performance related to safety, quality, productivity, and schedule. Supervise company staff and third-party labor resources while directing, motivating, and mentoring team members. Maintain project documentation and ensure required reporting is accurate and timely. Serve as a primary point of contact for owners, design professionals, and Authorities Having Jurisdiction. Oversee project quality standards and address constructibility issues affecting the critical path. Collaborate with Project Management to control costs and support project financial objectives.

Must-Have Skills:

At least 5 years of experience managing commercial construction projects valued above $20 million. Experience across commercial, multifamily, mixed-use, office, healthcare, medical, laboratory, retail, hospitality, industrial, or interior construction. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Procore or similar project management software, Bluebeam, and MS Project or comparable scheduling tools. Massachusetts Construction Supervisor License and Boston Builders License. OSHA 10 certification, CPR/First Aid certification, NFPA Hot Work Certificate, and NFPA Fire Prevention Program Manager Certification. Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Excellent organization, attention to detail, time management, and critical-path planning abilities. Ability to work autonomously while maintaining effective communication with internal teams and external partners.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

Bachelor's degree in construction management, facilities management, engineering, or a related field. Experience with modeling software and advanced construction technology. Passive House Certification. Experience overseeing multiple smaller projects simultaneously. Background managing senior living, affordable housing, healthcare, medical, laboratory, hospitality, or tenant improvement projects. Demonstrated ability to develop teams and foster a safe, productive, and collaborative jobsite culture.
