Job Description

The Senior Project Manager is responsible for overseeing and leading complex projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. This role involves strategic planning, stakeholder communication, risk management, and team leadership to drive project success. The Senior Project Manager works closely with executives, clients, and cross-functional teams to align project objectives with business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning & Execution Develop comprehensive project plans, defining scope, goals, deliverables, and timelines. Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for flawless execution. Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Track project performance and provide regular status reports to stakeholders. Stakeholder Management Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, maintaining clear and open communication. Collaborate with senior leadership, clients, and team members to align expectations. Conduct project briefings, updates, and presentations to executive teams and clients. Risk & Budget Management Identify and mitigate project risks to ensure successful outcomes. Develop contingency plans and proactively resolve project roadblocks. Monitor budgets, track costs, and ensure financial efficiency. Ensure project deliverables align with contractual agreements and company objectives. Team Leadership & Development Lead, mentor, and motivate project teams to achieve performance excellence. Assign tasks, manage workloads, and provide guidance to team members. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Process Improvement & Compliance Evaluate project management methodologies and implement best practices. Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and quality standards. Leverage project management tools and technologies for efficiency and transparency.
Qualifications & Skills:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
Experience:
7+ years of experience in project management, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects.
Certifications:
PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certification preferred.
Skills:
Strong leadership and team management abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Trello, Asana). Analytical and problem-solving skills to assess project risks and implement solutions. Budget management and financial forecasting expertise.
Industry Experience:
Experience in Residential construction and remodeling
