The firm works exclusively on commercial projects within driving distance of Stoneham, so there is no overnight travel in this role. Design-build and fast-track scopes make up the majority of the project load, and PMs are engaged from pre-construction through closeout alongside the GCs, engineers, and architects the firm has worked with long-term. The position opened due to project load growth, and the internal path from this seat leads to a senior PM role. Schedule Standard daytime schedule with weekly site visits across active projects. All work is within driving distance of the Stoneham office; overnight travel is not required. Compensation $125,000
- $140,000 Per Year Salary commensurate with experience.
Car allowance, gas card, and company cell phone included. What You'll Do You will manage commercial electrical projects from pre-construction through final closeout, with a significant portion of the work involving design-build and fast-track scopes. That means you are part of the conversation early, coordinating with general contractors, engineers, architects, and owners during the planning phase rather than receiving a finished set of documents and executing against them. You will conduct weekly site visits across your active project portfolio and serve as the primary point of coordination between the office and the field. On the field side, you will carry direct supervisory responsibility for foremen and field crews. That includes setting expectations, managing performance, and providing the day-to-day guidance crews need to execute on schedule and within scope. On the financial side, you will track job costs against budget and produce regular projection reports, giving ownership the visibility needed to manage the broader project load. This firm is independently owned and has been since it was founded. Project managers here work directly with the principals who run the business, which means decisions move quickly and the people setting direction are accessible. Required Qualifications 4 or more years of electrical project management or electrical foreman experience Field experience in commercial electrical construction Design-build project experience Working knowledge of NEC codes and standards Ability to read and interpret construction documents including electrical drawings and specifications Experience managing multiple active projects simultaneously Direct supervisory experience with field crews or foremen OSHA 10 certification Preferred Qualifications MA Journeyman or Master Electrician license, or equivalent state electrical license Experience with fast-track project delivery schedules Estimating or pre-construction coordination experience Familiarity with job cost tracking software or project management platforms used in electrical contracting OSHA 30 certification Compensation and Benefits Competitive base salary commensurate with experience Car allowance Company gas card Company cell phone Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) retirement plan Paid time off Internal advancement path to Senior Project Manager as project load grows To apply, submit your resume along with a brief overview of the types of commercial electrical projects you have managed and your experience with design-build scopes.
